The school operates on a 15-week semester basis. There are no classes Thanksgiving week. The Fall 2026 Beginner and Intermediate classes meet virtually on Mondays starting 08/31/2026 and ending 12/14/2026, except they will meet on Tuesday of Labor Day week rather than Monday. The Intermediate class will meet in person the last Monday of each month (9/28, 10/26, 11/30) and the final class of the semester (12/14). The Advanced classes meets in person on Wednesdays starting 09/02/2026 and ending 12/14/2026. All in person classes will be at Houston Saengerbund, 1703 Heights Blvd, Houston.

The cost is modest, and varies according to the cost of materials, which come from Sweden. The textbook for the Beginner class is Rivstart A1/A2 (Third Edition, 2023); the textbook for the Intermediate class is Mål 1 (and will be Rivstart B1/B2 in Spring 2027); the textbook for the Advanced class is Rivstart B2+C1.
